Ben Smallman began animation in Flash in 2003, when his dad got him Web Design for Dummies with a Flash 5 trial with the hopes of me making a website for him (never happened btw). After fiddling around with the Flash 5 the grammar school conveniently had handy, his geeky friend gave him Flash MX and some webspace and the rest is history. (Not particularly interesting history, mind you.)

Since then, Ben, going under the name Wonchop, has worked his way up the flash versions and has made several contributions to internet communities such as Newgrounds and Deviantart. Some of his top works include the IT Geeks series, the music video for Akira the Don's Hypocrite and Tales of Beardyman which was a runner up at the 2010 Flip Animation Festival's Student Competition.

He has recently completed a BA Hons degree in Animation at Birmingham City University, and in recent years has produced commercial animations for both TV and web for various clients, including the popular Weebl's Stuff website, CITV, Channel 4, E4 and more...
